You Are Not Lost You Are Here

This is my 3000th post.

I feel I should ask for some feedback or something, but I guess we’re well beyond that now.

I’m sure some people race to 3000 posts, even though it’s taken me almost exactly two years.

But it’s all about the quality of the posts. (this is not said with a straight face)

Well, attempting to share good stuff anyway.

So um, thanks for sticking with me people from the beginning, and cheers to those who’ve joined along the way.

I’ll stop building up a sense of my own importance now and get back to self-indulgently posting things I like.

i feel like i should post some more “text” posts, as otherwise this blog is pretty much like any other generic blog that just has some nice pictures on it and thats about all.

though i’m not flattering myself with the notion that somehow texts posts by myself are going to suddenly make this thing credible, alternative, erudite, and are ultimately going to this all popular and influential.

i highly doubt they are.

it just might make it a bit more… personable.

but then one runs the risk of creating a personality that isn’t really truthful.

there are a lot of things that are unsaid when it comes to writing down words and thoughts; instead i feel that you can express more with pictures. they allow you to show a wider sense of yourself than you can just by talking. you know, the nuances of taste that are otherwise unseen and unheard.
